Shooting through close to 3 calendar years has given me great insight into what I love about every season. No, not just each season, but more than that. Each week. Each small change of the sun.
In May, spring asserted itself and took charge, scattering green in every nook and cranny of our yard. My oldest turned into a future first grader, now a self-assured student ready to hang up his backpack for the summer and play soccer in the front yard and hockey in the street. And my youngest and I passed our last days home as just the two of us, playing dress up and play dough.
